Bangladesh is a land of prosperity, resilient population, intelligent youth and communal harmony. This country has come a long way facing various kinds of social and political turmoil, since its glorious liberation war in 1971. Nevertheless, every time the country has faced crisis, the youth of the country have stepped up and played instrumental role. Many dreams have been fulfilled in the last 50 years, there are still many left to be fulfilled.
The Institute for Global Cooperation Foundation (IGCF) is one such dream that has become a reality. In 2024, this nation has entered a new era where the youth has a strong presence through their patriotism, talent, intellect, conviction and hard work. IGCF is committed to create a platform for youth-led research, advocacy, and cooperation that drives sustainable development and international collaboration between Bangladesh and other nations.
This organization will encourage young minds to research on issues related to youth empowerment, socioeconomic development, and political participation in Bangladesh, international milestones achievements, poverty alleviation, food safety, education , eliminating discrimination in the society , creating transparent and accountable democratic institutions and numerous other things. The IGCF thrives to establish a platform for the country’s youth to enhance their skills in research, policy advocacy, capacity building and project implementation.
I truly believe that through the contribution of the rich advisory board of the IGCF and the talented youth members of this organization , IGCF will be able to make a rich contribution in the society and help in socio economic sustainable growth of the country. Albert Einstein said ‘We can’t solve today’s problems with the mentality that created them.’ At IGCF we want to cultivate minds who will think out of the box raise questions and help a build a nation of transparency and accountability.
