MalcomX once quoted ‘The future belongs to those who prepare for it today.’ The Institute for Global Cooperation Foundation (IGCF) thrives to be one such institution that will assist to create the kind of future the next generation of Bangladesh deserves. This is a nation of many innovative minds and creative talents who often could not flourish for the lack of a firm focused and liberal platforms. The IGCF is committed to be that platform.
The new Bangladesh in 2024 comes with new challenges and at the same time immense possibilities for the new generation. And this new era belongs to the youth of this country who are strong patriots and also have the conviction to make our nation a better place for the next generation. The IGCF will be the organization that will help stimulate the next generation thinkers and leaders.
The IGCF plans to be an institute where the country’s youth will be able to enhance their skills in research, policy advocacy, capacity building and project implementation. This organization will encourage young minds to research on issues related to youth empowerment, socioeconomic development, and political participation in Bangladesh, international milestones achievements, poverty alleviation, food safety, education , eliminating discrimination in the society , creating transparent and accountable democratic institutions and numerous other things.
The IGCF will serve as a hub for fostering international partnerships, enabling Bangladesh to collaborate with other countries, international organizations, and global experts. The center will play a key role in building Bangladesh’s capacity by providing training, research, and policy expertise to both local and international stakeholders. IGCF also plans to establish partnerships with global research institutions, international organizations, development agencies to facilitate knowledge exchange and collaboration.
I am confident that through the contribution and support of the rich advisory board of the IGCF and the diligent work of talented youth members of this organization , IGCF will be able to become country’s one of the leading institution of innovation, creativity, research and development.
